Trinity Episcopal School is seeking an Associate Director of Admission who will support all aspects of recruitment, admission, and enrollment as part of fulfilling the mission of Trinity Episcopal School. As a member of the Admission Office team, he/she will report directly to the Director of Admission and Financial Support, and collaborate in planning, organizing, and implementing programs, activities, and communications intended to attract and retain a diverse pool of students to the School. The Associate Director of Admission is part of a team that also includes the Registrar. The position is 11 months, full time and includes benefits.
Essential Responsibilities Include The Following
Perform these duties with confidentiality, discretion, integrity, good judgment and a collaborative team spirit
Manage and maintain all confidential admission records in FACTS, our online student record database; process and respond to online inquiries and application materials; upload applicant supporting documents and update applicant checklists daily, respond to phone calls and emails from prospective families interested in Trinity for their child(ren)
Represent the school in various community recruiting efforts in diverse settings (school fairs, preschool visits, external community organizations)
Provide support in planning and hosting welcome events and conducting private and group tours
Assist with the brainstorming and execution of a marketing plan for the year along with our Advancement and Marketing/Communication team
Inventory and reorder marketing materials and replenish swag supplies on an ongoing basis
Assist with the planning and execution of the Saturday kindergarten observations
Manage the admission email and organize the documents into folders on the drive
Schedule full-day visits for applicants in grades 1-8 and provide teachers with assessment materials for prospective students
Schedule follow-up conferences with all prospective applicant families working collaboratively with the Admission Director
Participate in admission decisions as a member of the Admission Committee
Oversee the Admission parent volunteers and the Shepherd Ambassador program pairing new families with current families and onboarding new families
Assist with planning all welcome events for incoming families
Understand the admission cycle and the importance of being available throughout critical times in the season
Refer students and parents/guardians to appropriate boarding schools and resources
Conduct mock interviews with rising 9th-grade students
Facilitate and plan spring boarding school panel and information session
Lead tours and meet with boarding school admissions representatives throughout the school year
Attend the Charlotte Boarding School 360 parent fair in September
Attend the 7th-grade Transition to High School Meeting
Partner with the High School Counselor for local public, charter, and private schools guiding each student to choose schools with their interests and abilities

Education And Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree
A background in childhood development and/or classroom experience is helpful but not required
Experience working in admission or indirectly supporting the admission team
Personable, warm and welcoming with a desire to build relationships
Ability to be flexible and work as part of a TEAM
Show discretion and sensitivity to confidentiality
Strong interpersonal, presentation, writing, organizational and communication skills
Skills And Qualifications
Technology skills:
Capability in managing/updating a database of prospective students
Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
Proficiency in the synthesis and analysis of data
Ability to update the website with basic information
Comfortable running slide-show presentations
Other Duties
There will be some Saturday and evening hours
Attendance is expected at most school-wide events during and after school hours
