As the Associate Director for Student Conduct, this position will serve as the Gender-Based Violence and Abusive Conduct Adjudication Specialist for the Office of Student Conduct. This role will be to serve as the primary university decision-maker and hearing officer for most, if not all, cases that involve cases investigated and referred by the Title IX Coordinator alongside another student conduct professionals. Additionally, they will adjudicate / coordinate cases identified as potential abusive conduct and hazing policy violations. Finally, they will assist with the adjudication of other student conduct cases, issue and follow up on potential no contact order requests, and partner with other university offices to carry out the mission of the office of student conduct.So, if you have a passion for student success and a commitment to well-being and inclusion, please keep reading!HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS ROLE1) You'll be reporting to the Director of Student Conduct in a Regular twelve-month, 100% administrative professional appointment.2) You'll be championing a fair and equitable student conduct process responsible for adjudicating cases investigated and referred by the Title IX Coordinator alongside another student conduct professional.3) You'll adjudicate and coordinate cases identified as potential abusive conduct and hazing policy violations that are referred to Student Conduct.4) You'll assist with the adjudication of other student conduct cases, issue and follow up on potential no contact order requests, and partner with other university offices to carry out the mission of the office of student conduct.5) You'll be offered a base compensation package between $85,000-$90,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid leave, retirement, tuition assistance, VT discounts, and so much more!HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY1)THE UNIVERSITY:Virginia Tech as an employer is committed to developing well-rounded employees who are active members of the university community as well as the community at-large.
