Job Description:

Reporting to the Dean of Professional Studies, the Associate Director of Early Childhood Workforce Projects will lead daily grant activities and administration for the City of Boston Growing the Early Education and Care Workforce Grant. The person in this position will assure timely completion of deliverables, collaborate with stakeholders, implement grant activities, implement project work plan and timelines, correspondence, and other documents, comply with all regulations/policies, complete reports, and supervise grant staff. In addition to tasks required by grant guidelines, the person in this role will ensure student voice remains at the center of the work and that the cultural wealth of community members throughout the City of Boston are valued and celebrated. The ability to build positive relationships with project participants, community partners, and employers will be key to the success of the person in this role.

Requirements:

Demonstrated project management experience. Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g. Education, Communication, Business, etc.). Grant administration experience. Experience and/or knowledge of MA community college and workforce systems. Experience working across multiple constituencies. Experience working with diverse populations. Preferred Qualifications: Multi-lingual in Cantonese, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, or Spanish. Familiarity with Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Credentialing. Experience with college enrollment systems. Familiarity with Registered Apprenticeships.
Additional Information:

Salary Range: $85,000.00-$95,000.00. This is a grant-funded position through the City of Boston Growing the Early Education and Care Workforce grant. The position is funded through December 2025. The purpose of the City of Boston Growing the Early Education and Care Workforce grant is to provide funding to organizations to increase the number of early childhood educators entering the field by providing course work and wrap-around supports resulting in an Associate or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
