Associate Database AdministratorsJob DescriptionCoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks Associate Database Administrators to monitor physical and AWS EC2 and RDS SQL Server health, manage permissions, optimize SQL queries. Manage, configure and maintain database servers and processes. Manage high availability, security, performance, replication, partition tables, and ETL processes. Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems on-call, working as needed to complete projects, working on deployments, and resolving system outages. Analyze problems, anticipate future problem areas, and implement solutions. Automate processes and document changes, demonstrating knowledge on all aspects of AWS Database Engines (RDS, DynamoDB) and Azure Database Engines (managed instances, data warehouse) including administration. #LI-DNIPosition requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with configuration and maintenance of database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience with database administration for large Data warehouse/DataMart implementations, including configuration, implementation, data modeling, and maintenance; 2 years of experience with SQL Server Management, including installation and upgrade of servers for new editions and updates; 2 years of experience with Cloud migration/maintenance, 2 years of experience with AWS CloudWatch, DataDog, and Kibana; and 2 years of experience with bash, JavaScript, NodeJS, PowerShell, and Python.Job location: Irvine, CA.
