Associate Clinician

Job summary
Elwyn Adult Behavioral Health Services is seeking Associate Clinicians for their new residential treatment facility in Dover, Delaware.The Associate Clinician will be responsible for providing counseling and advocacy to individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders in a therapeutic setting.This position offers a salary of $20 per hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities
• Provide general daily care to program residents.• Deliver counseling and advocacy services in a therapeutic setting.• Work with young adults through geriatric individuals with chronic mental illness and co-occurring disorders.• Help clients achieve social, economic, emotional, and personal independence.• Intervene therapeutically in a recovery-based environment.• Monitor and administer prescribed medications according to guidelines.• Maintain client records in compliance with policy and procedures.• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.• Provide psycho-educational services to clients and their families.• Support the principles of recovery and the inclusion of peers in the recovery process.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, rehabilitative counseling, social work, clinical psychology, or closely related discipline.• 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with chronic mental and behavioral health issues in a residential setting.
