Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.
The Associate Chief Medical Officer & Medical Director of Ambulatory Medicine
(A-CMO) function has key accountabilities and roles as part of senior management team. This position has the primary accountability for leading the effort to evaluate and identify opportunities for clinical performance improvement, and to helping achieve superior outcomes in clinical services throughout the system.
In this role, the A-CMO is charged with developing methods and strategies to engage the clinicians in adopting evidence-based practices to drive and achieve top decile clinical performance; with developing alignment strategies to strengthen physician relationships and collaborative team-based care; and with developing educational programs for the physicians. With the emphasis on clinical integration, the A-CMO will need to manage the relationships with both the growing number of hospital-based, affiliated and the independent physicians, who will still be closely affiliated with Community Memorial Healthcare (CMH). Initiatives aimed at improving patient safety, quality of care and rigorously managing hospital costs all have the potential to more closely align hospitals and physicians yet also create points of friction. The A-CMO will complement the medical staff structure to minimize these points of friction.
Required:
Advanced Degree in Medicine
Five (5) years' experience
Current and unrestricted California MD or DO license
Preferred:
Previous CMO experience
Bilingual in Spanish
