Responsibilities
• Supports pharmacy pricing for all commercial segments• Maintains self-funded pharmacy pricing model• Models updates and coordinates implementation with underwriting• Monitors and forecasts pharmacy profitability• Provides actuarial support for corporate pharmacy initiatives• Directs development of pricing research projects• Monitors industry news and ensures competitive positioning• Reviews data analytic methods and identifies improvement opportunities• Works with external vendors• Represents actuarial team in meetings with other functional areas
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Services or related field• FSA designation and five+ years of experience required• Solid mathematical background with experience in risk models and analysis tools• Proficiency in Excel, RStudio, SQL, and Visual Basic preferred• Effective project management and problem-solving skills• Effective facilitation and presentation skills• Must work in the Tri-State Area
