Assocaite Attorney

Direct Counsel  is seeking an experienced Attorney specializing in insurance coverage, bad faith, and complex tort and business litigation to join a mid-sized law firm in Glendale, California. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience, although exceptional candidates with 3-4 years of experience will also be considered.
Requirements Manage a caseload involving insurance coverage, bad faith, and other complex tort and business litigation matters. Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and clients. Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and represent clients in court proceedings. Provide comprehensive coverage opinions for first-party and/or third-party claims. Demonstrate strong research and writing skills for legal briefs, motions, and other documents. Handle diverse law and motion practice in both state and federal courts. Provide appellate support as needed. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the California State Bar. 3-10 years of experience in insurance coverage, bad faith, or related litigation fields. Strong research and writing skills with demonstrated ability to draft coverage opinions and legal briefs. Experience managing a caseload and conducting depositions. Familiarity with state and federal court procedures. Appellate experience is a plus. Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $160,000 annually, along with full HMO/medical coverage and other benefits.
