Assistant Store Manager role as part of Store Management TeamResponsible for management and supervision of all associatesOversees associate development, merchandise sales, expense management, and general store management
Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise all associates in the store• Develop and execute Kohl's Best Practices in merchandise sales areas• Analyze business operations and manage expenses• Manage customer service programs and resolve escalated customer complaints• Ensure merchandise presentation and store cleanliness standards are met• Review sales opportunities, ad set process, and replenishment schedules• Participate in hiring process and annual associate reviews• Manage hourly staff and ensure ethical standards and company policies are followed• Manage inventory programs and shortage/unit system accuracy• Manage payroll projections, productivity, and expenses• Oversee store freight team, district audit issues, and building maintenance• Delegate tasks to area supervisors/other non-exempt positions• Open and close the store, demonstrate professional accomplishments• Plan and organize store operations, lead a large team of associates• Communicate effectively, anticipate challenges, and develop solutions• Regular attendance is required
Requirements
