Position Summary:
We're thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Remote Service Manager to join our Remote Services Department. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in fulfilling mission of empowering our members to reach higher, accomplish more, and take charge of their financial future. Central to this mission is delivering exceptional service to both internal and external members.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the remote service team to ensure members receive outstanding experiences for both service-related needs and financial wellness requirements. Uphold consistency in member service interactions and leverage omnichannel tools to enhance member experiences.
Cultivate and maintain relationships members by addressing their service needs, utilizing active listening skills, and recommending relevant financial solutions. Align strategic mission through meaningful financial wellness conversations with members across various channels.
Utilize policies and procedures to effectively address member needs, fostering loyalty to the credit union. Support the Remote Service Manager in teaching, coaching, and training member service representatives on policies and procedures.
Demonstrate sound judgment, high ethics, and prudence in managing operational policy and procedures to mitigate risk for the credit union and its members. Serve as a brand ambassador for across all interactions.
Stay updated on compliance training and actively participate in behavioral skill training to enhance job performance. Coach the team on utilizing available resources to maximize member opportunities.
Lead the team to meet service and financial wellness standards and goals set by senior leadership and Board. Collaborate with management to identify and address performance gaps promptly.
Manage employee engagement throughout the lifecycle, including hiring, training, performance management, and recognition. Ensure a supportive work environment that promotes development and work-life balance for direct reports.
Education & Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 5 years of retail sales and service experience, preferably in retail branch banking
Previous leadership experience preferred
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
