Job Description Summary Sundance is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Assistant Sales Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. The Assistant Sales Manager partners with the store management team in driving store sales by motivating and developing a sales team to provide the highest level of internal/external customer service to maximize sales. Assist the management team in store opening, closing and general floor supervision as scheduled and needed. Maintains a positive, energetic work environment, and consistently demonstrates and upholds the Sundance culture with the utmost integrity.
Responsibilities Customer Service/Sales Models exemplary customer service. Listens to customers and uses their feedback to improve service levels in the store. Achieves budgeted sales, payroll and inventory goals. Woks with the Store Manager to analyze sales trends, develop plans to maximize profits and minimize costs. Consistently exceeds the expectations and requirements of the internal and external customer. Resolves issues in a timely and cost-effective manner. Provides ongoing sales and product training for the staff to build multiple sales and achieve sales goals. Store Teams Supervise the sales floor such that staff is adhering to Daily Agenda and proper zone coverage is ensured. Implements and reinforces goals and assignments set by Store Manager to ensure all associates are trained and performing to company expectations. Motivates and develops associates by providing consistent feedback, product training, sales and service techniques. Participates in weekly management meetings to discuss business sales trends, product assortment and inventory levels, new operating procedures and hiring needs. Participates in monthly staff meetings to review sales trends and goals, new product information, enhanced selling techniques, seasonal promotions, and individual recognition. Operations Ensures all visual, operational, and safety policies and procedures are followed and executed in a timely manner. Teaches and enforces loss prevention tactics on sales floor. Consistently enforces all company policies and procedures. Keeps open and responsive communication with Store Manager. Qualifications Associates degree in a related field required, BS or BA preferred 5+ years experience in retail management, including previous specialty in retail general, store manager responsibilities Previous experience with a premium brand retailer Experience in an environment where customer service is highly regarded Ability to read and write English fluently, including business communication Competent knowledge of Microsoft Suite Excellent judgement and decision-making skills Additional Information If you would like to be part of a great team, are ready to take on a challenge and make a difference within our company, apply today.
