Job Description The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Operations (ISAO) at the University of Louisville's College of Business seeks qualified applicants for a full-time non-tenure track, teaching-intensive faculty position to begin August 1, 2024. Expected teaching load is 4/4 per year (24 credit hours). Appointment will be at the rank of instructor or assistant professor of practice dependent upon academic credentials and experience. This position is not expected to produce research. However, engagement in professional service activities for the department, college, university, and/or community is expected. The successful candidate will teach face-to-face and online graduate level courses for the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program. In addition, teaching undergraduate level courses for the Computer Information Systems major program is required.
Preferred and Required QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS Candidates must possess a master's degree in information systems, computer science or a closely related field. A Ph.D. degree is required for appointment as assistant professor. Candidates should have experience teaching at a university level. Teaching experience should include technical skills such as programming, statistics, machine learning, and database. The ability to develop and teach effective and innovative online courses will also be a strong consideration.
