Responsibilities
• Teach a course load and engage with Counselor Education faculty in program planning and course development• Assist with measures for determining and evaluating student learning outcomes and dispositions• Advise students and develop a programmatic research agenda• Prepare and submit grant applications and provide service and engagement activities• Participate in professional organizations
Requirements
• Earned doctoral degree from a CACREP-accredited Counselor Education or Rehabilitation Counseling program• Certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) or demonstrate eligibility• License eligible (LPCC) in Kentucky• Experience in teaching core CACREP and specialized courses in rehabilitation counseling and clinical mental health counseling• Willingness to teach, supervise, and mentor Counselor Education and Supervision doctoral students• Experience as a rehabilitation counselor or mental health counselor• Established research and publication track record or potential• Evidence of grant writing or potential for grant writing• Clinical and/or supervision experience in counseling• Experience working with diverse populations• Experience in use of instructional technology
