Assistant Principal

This position serves as assistant instructional leader and assistant administrative officer of a Montessori charter preschool, elementary and middle school (PreK-8th grade).
High Desert Montessori School is a dynamic public Montessori Charter school that serves 500 students from 3 years old to 8th grade. We offer a free charter school for grades K-8 and a tuition based program for preschool aged children. We provide a safe, nurturing school environment that fosters independence, problem solving, and great works in our students. We encourage all of our students to be participating members of a socially-conscious and green community by inspiring them to be critical thinkers who are capable of reflection, communication, and action.
HDMS is located in Reno, Nevada. Less than an hour from Lake Tahoe and just minutes from the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Reno offers easy access to a variety of sporting and outdoor activities and some of the most spectacular landscapes in the west. Reno hosts over 100 festivals a year and is rich in culture and events.
