They will also work in partnership with Maintenance Technicians to repair and maintain Aurora Housing Authority facilities.· Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding Aurora Housing Authority's apartment homes and offices.· Picks up and removes trash, pulls weeds, and shovels snow.· Performs basic irrigation repairs.· Repairs structures and maintains outside of buildings.· Assists with preventative maintenance, repairs, and replacements.· Performs some repairs inside buildings in partnership with Maintenance Technicians.· Performs routine maintenance on power equipment.· Performs light checks of all exterior buildings.· Assists Maintenance Technicians with make readies and turnover of vacant units.· Assists Maintenance Technicians with on-call rotation.· Performs trash outs on vacant units.· Performs light janitorial needs to interior common areas, hallways, and stairwells.· Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.· Prior apartment or building maintenance experience preferred.· On-the-job training offered.· Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment.· Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping and maintenance repairs.· Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.· Excellent time management skills.Additional InformationConditions of employment:Valid Colorado Driver License and InsurancePlease submit a resume when responding to this job posting.
