Responsibilities
• Partner with departments to communicate human resources policies, procedures, programs and laws.• Strategize and collaborate with HR team members to support the needs of the assigned line of business.• Assist with the development of department goals, objectives, and systems.• Identify and effectively handle employee relations issues and organizational development issues.• Conduct internal investigations, respond to colleague complaints, and provide a resolution plan.• Determine and recommend employee relations practices to establish a positive employer-colleague relationship.• Assist with the development and implementation of performance management processes.• Review recommendations, assist and monitor the implementation of performance improvement plans.• Build and maintain knowledge of current HR related laws and practices.• Assist with HR-related education/training, communication, and awareness efforts.• Monitor onboarding and orientation process while welcoming new hires.• Provide assistance and back-up to other support teams as needed.• Cultivate a culture that emphasizes responsiveness, innovation, diversity, and excellence.• Compile and submit reports from various database systems.• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Bilingual (Spanish) Required• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related field• Minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources Generalist experience• Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly with colleagues and supervisors during investigations• Full-scope HR Generalist experience.• Proven ability to build and maintain partnerships and solid working relationships with management and employees.• Action-oriented, with the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.• Ability to work independently and react to change quickly and effectively.• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.• Customer-service focus and strong influencing skills.• Experience in administering human resources policies, programs, and practices.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.• Occasional night and weekend work may be required.
