Responsibilities
• Manage operations for assigned areas within Housekeeping• Deliver and measure guest service standards• Participate in research, development, and implementation of new products/services• Manage Human Resources responsibilities for Housekeeping• Mentor/coach Housekeeping Floor Managers• Assume responsibilities of Executive Housekeeper in absence• Promote and develop team-oriented philosophy• Ensure adherence to guest service standards• Manage accountability processes for division• Evaluate staffing levels and make recommendations• Respond to guest service interactions• Inspect rooms to ensure compliance with standards• Establish and maintain effective working relationship with all departments• Handle bidding processes for positions• Represent management in various meetings
Requirements
• Technical knowledge/understanding of a hotel management system• Knowledge/understanding of legal ramifications/implications• Knowledge/understanding of OSHA, chemicals, production, etc.• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs. and maneuver Housekeeping cart• Strong leadership qualities and problem-solving skills• Ability to perform duties with attention to detail• Maintain physical stamina and deal effectively with guests, management, and employees• Neat and well-groomed appearance• Ability to interact with guests and understand their needs
