You'll learn more about this during the recruitment process.JOB SUMMARY:Oversees the day-to-day operation of the Wardrobe and Back of House (BOH) Park Services operation. Acts as a partner and liaison between North and South Campus Park Services and Wardrobe teams. Responsible for driving maximum efficiency for Wardrobe and an exemplary standard of care for cleanliness in BOH areas. Manages recycling initiatives between both departments to help with maintaining LEED certification standards. Foster relationships within all UOR areas and peers to maintain open lines of communication. Create and maintain a positive, diverse, and inclusive culture.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Specific focus for the overall operations for Wardrobe and Park Services-BOH and serves as the main point of contact for both departments. Advanced decision making for operational expectations and standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure overall operational needs supporting Guest and Team Members are met. Act as an operational liaison between north and south campus to ensure operational alignment between Wardrobe and Park Services.Oversees and adjusts Managers, Supervisors and Team Member daily functions to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Manage department leaders in focusing on exemplary Team Member and Guests experiences. Develop and maintain labor and non labor budgets for all areas within Park Services and Wardrobe. Consistently evaluate opportunities to reduce operating costs while minimizing any negative Guest and Team Member impacts.Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to Resort Service leadership team through career development. Partner with Human Resources and Talent Development to ensure leaders are up to date on classes, courses and general information that supports UO competencies, expectatons and values. Ensure Leadership Summits are scheduled and completed throughout the year.Collaborate with BAIE, Sourcing and internal projects team to research, review and test new equipment for parkwide use.Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:Bachelor degree is preferred.EXPERIENCE:9+ years of combined Park Services and/or Wardrobe Operations Management Experience strongly preferred.7+ years management experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Computer skills required.Microsoft Office Suite, and desktop publishing experience required.Adobe Creative Suite preferred.Your talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.Universal Orlando Resort.Here you can.Universal Orlando is an equal opportunity employer.
