Responsibilities
• Resolving customer account disputes• Providing customer service and assisting library customers• Processing library account applications and enforcing account rules• Responding to circulation inquiries• Reviewing and recommending changes to department procedures and processes• Training staff and counseling employees on performance issues• Managing money and promoting reading and library materials• Maintaining collection for circulation and ensuring accurate shelving• Planning and supervising project to implement RFID system• Performing other assigned duties
Requirements
• High school diploma/GED and 4 years of customer service experience in a library environment• 2 years of lead work/supervisor experience• Experience with automated library circulation systems highly desirable• Valid Florida driver's license required• Education must meet specific requirements outlined in the job description
