Role Overview:
As the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing care within our facility. Working alongside and providing crucial support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), you'll ensure that nursing care across the facility meets the highest standards of excellence and is aligned with established protocols. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering an environment where clinical practice and patient care flourish. In the absence of the CNO, you will serve as the senior Nursing official, maintaining the integrity and quality of our nursing services.
Responsibilities:
Provide inspirational leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care.
Implement effective strategies for the recognition and treatment of chemical dependency and mental health disorders.
Spearhead the development and maintenance of our Nursing department's philosophy, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with our hospital's mission.
Facilitate collaborative efforts across departments, working closely with the CEO and CFO to manage budget considerations and staffing needs.
Oversee the planning and execution of mandatory training sessions for our staff, ensuring adherence to the latest health care regulations and standards.
Support the CNO in all facets of staffing management, from recruitment to policy enforcement, to ensure our team is equipped to provide the highest level of patient care.
What We're Looking For:
A passionate leader with a BSN from an accredited School of Nursing and a current Delaware Registered Nurse License.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience in behavioral health nursing, showcasing your ability to lead and innovate.
Exceptional communication skills, adaptability, and a CPR certification are essential.
