Assistant Bookkeeper at NHC Place at the Trace NHC Place at the Trace is looking for a Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience and will be an organized self-starter with excellent time management skills and a positive attitude.


Position Highlights: vouchering invoices, classify and record expenses of operations, preparing weekly check run, communicating with vendors and partners with regards to purchases, preparing month end books for submission to home office, and other various tasks related to accounts payable. Will also be responsible for helping maintain resident patient accounts which entails receiving funds, making bank deposits, posting cash to patient accounts. This position may also include receptionist duties at the front desk and various other administrative tasks as needed.Applicant must be detail orientated, have good communication skills, and be flexible concerning additional duties as they arise. Other duties as required by the Business Office Manager and the Administrator.


Qualifications: Experience in insurance verification, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. Possess good communication skills with attention to detail. Be able to work effectively and thoroughly with patients and families. Be well-organized, persistent and work as a team player with other departments.
