Compensation: Compensation Type: Salary Employment Type: Regular Grade: E01 Position Summary Coordinates, supervises and manages the operations of the testing services at the CNM Assessment Center. Duties & Responsibilities Supervises staff, which includes prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a healthy and safe working environment Design, develop and deliver training to the department. Directs the activities of the department, which includes planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, systems, standards, and/or service offerings; ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and/or standards. Designs, implements and enforces test security procedures, student records and test materials confidentiality; ensures compliance to rules, policies and procedures. Prepares agendas, statistical reports, informational literature, correspondence and other documents for the Director and/or college departments. Troubleshoots minor computer hardware and software problems, reports and corrects irregularities and implements procedures to prevent issues. Responds to requests for testing information from students, college staff and the general public; reviews and authorizes student, faculty, counselor or community requests for testing. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two (2) years of experience in teaching, training, counseling or testing; and experience working with special needs individuals and supporting documentation. Not be involved in high school equivalency instruction.
