We are seeking an Assembly/Packer Shipping Responsibilities include filling material demands of internal and external customers and will accurately perform tasks assigned for material movement. Following FIFO practices along with ISO compliance. The employee will follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company's Quality System.
Some fun things you will do in this role include: Perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to assembly Keep all materials and products neat and organized Perform visual inspection of parts for obvious defects and complete quality check sheets as required Problem solve discrepancies Set up and use weight scale Packing parts- either on skids or in boxes Read and follow work order directions What you'll need to be able to do: Problem-solve issues as required; ask for assistance when needed. Follow all prescribed safety regulations Desire to maintain a clean and safe 5S work environment. Able to work on one's feet for an 8 - 10 hours shift. Ability to perform physical labor including lift, push/pull, carry up to 50 lbs. Have effective communication skills: fluent English reading, writing, speaking Punctuality and Good Attendance is a must. Knowledge of basic use of handheld power tools We are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently.
