We are currently searching for dedicated Assembly/Packer to join our team. R&M Manufacturing was founded in 1968 to produce precision sheet metal components. With over 50 years providing excellence in sheet metal fabrication, R&M will assist with all sheet metal needs - from prototyping to production runs.

Our facility is open 7 days per week with 1st and 2nd shifts working Monday - Thursday and a Weekend shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
What is an Assembly/Packer? In this role, you will play a crucial part in fulfilling material demands for both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will involve accurately executing assigned tasks related to material movement, adhering to FIFO practices, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. As a key member of our team, you will follow documented policies and procedures outlined in the company's Quality System, contributing to our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our operations. In this role, you will: Packing parts - either on skids or in boxes
Perform a variety of duties including, but not limited to assembly
Keep all materials and products neat and organized
Perform visual inspection of parts and complete quality check sheets as required
Problem solve discrepancies
Set up and use weight scale
Read and follow work order directions
To succeed in this role, you must: Problem-solve issues as required; ask for assistance when needed.
Follow all prescribed safety regulations
Maintain a clean and safe 5S work environment.
Ability to perform physical labor including lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
Have effective communication skills: fluent English reading, writing, speaking
Knowledge of basic use of handheld power tools
We are seeking a team player who is reliable and punctual and willing to commit to our fabrication team having fun while working safe and producing quality efficiently. We are also willing to train the correct individuals!
