Assembly Operator

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
· Operate automated and manual assembly cells and monitor process sequence of operation, as identified in departmental quality plans and work instructions.
· Navigate and acknowledge screens on HMI display controls.
· Select product recipes for varying dimensions and specifications at each assembly station.
· Identify and correct alerts, alarms and/or non-conforming product.
· Assist Assembly set-up personnel with the changing over of tooling on the automated and manual lines. 
· Troubleshoot part compliance and equipment problems, enlisting the assistance of the set-up personnel, leadership or maintenance as needed.
· Safely use rigging or manually lift work pieces to load on the assembly lines.
· Demonstrate an understanding of part gaging principles.
· Monitor robots at loading/unloading and pack-out stations for proper operation.
· Assist in cleaning, maintaining and storing tooling and equipment.
· Maintain strong communications with fellow operators and leadership.
· Tag and segregate non-conforming product.
· Perform basic housekeeping to keep area clean and safe.
The ideal candidate will be able to work up to a 12-hour shift and have some manufacturing experience.
