For information on our international network visit .  Handles the coordination of all of the team's tasks in order to build the structure to professional standards in their field of activity (roads, piping, rail, etc.) in observance of the safety guidelines.
Main Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating daily activities and work assignments for your team. Assist in scheduling of field activities, subcontractors and crew members. Inspect work performed to ensure it meets specifications and is on schedule. Maintain daily records of all significant project facts, crew timesheets, events and conditions. Responsible for deliveries, productions, and record keeping - including creating and submitting reports.  Assist with the instruction and training of employees and ensure the safety of the workers. Assist crew foreperson in implementing environmental, health and safety regulations and policies (local, state and government). Must keep equipment serviced, lubricated, and in good working order, including good housekeeping. Must have an understanding of the dangers involved in an interstate operation. Able to recognize potential problems before they occur, and act accordingly. Must have the ability to work safely and follow the policies and procedures of the company.

  Position Requirements Experience in roadway and site construction Knowledge of traffic control standards Excellent communication skills Leadership acuity Commitment to our safety program and practices Knowledge of and ability to operate paving equipment (example: pavers, rollers, tack truck, etc.) Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
5+ years experience in road paving
A current, valid drivers license with an acceptable MVR

 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Able to read and interpret documents, such as: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and write routine reports and correspondence.
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

 
Compensation: $25.00 per hour shop pay, prevailing wage for the county when on the road
