Job Description Summary The Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will have at least 3-5 years experience. The Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will perform duties at parking lots by operating one or several types of equipment. The Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will communicate daily the project status with key stakeholders in the project. In addition, the Asphalt/Pave Box Operator will ensure that all materials are installed per specifications for the project and all work is completed with Rose Paving standards.
Responsibilities Proficient Pave Box Operator Must be adept on Auger speeds, feed controls, flow gates, etc. Skilled in automatic grade and slope controls, crown position, vibratory controls, extensions and cut off shoes Setting passes Determining yields Trucking schedules Pace setting efficiencies Proper drainage and aesthetics evaluations Monitor the mat and yield daily Must be versatile and able to control team operation Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have broad understanding of Rose Paving's business and proven abilities in the areas of preparation and installation of Asphalt. Salary Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
