U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Lead (Multiple Openings) in Minneapolis, MN.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Lead (Multiple Openings) position is responsible for big data and analytics projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data. The Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Lead (Multiple Openings) will develop and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse big data sources to generate insights and solutions for client services and product enhancement. Responsibilities include: Acquire data from multiple data sources to perform analysis. Implement and validate predictive models as well as create and maintain statistical models with a focus on big data, optimization, Natural Language Processing (NLP), large language models, and unstructured data. Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data to provide answers to business questions and provide recommendations for action. Interpret data and analyze the results using advanced statistical techniques and tools such as SAS, Python, SQL. Present data and recommendations. Measure and monitor results of applied recommendations and present adjustments. Provide mentorship to other team members as needed. Telecommuting available anywhere in U.S.
Basic Qualifications:
The qualified candidate must have at least a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Business Administration. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience as data scientist or closely related occupation.

The qualified candidate must have at least a Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Business Administration. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience as data scientist or closely related occupation. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience in each of the following: End-to-end data science projects, from problem formulation and data exploration to modeling and deployment; Working with business requirements and delivering data-driven solutions; Machine Learning Frameworks and Libraries, including Scikit; Statistical Analysis Tools NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy; Data visualization using Matplotlib and Tableau; Working with: SAS, Python, R, SQL, and NoSQL in banking industry for model development; Customer Segmentation using Classification and Clustering Techniques, Recommendation Engines; Using Optimization Algorithms including Linear Programming; Developing Natural Language Processing ( NLP ) for text analytics; and Adhering to Data Governance while developing data science models.
Alternatively, the qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Business Administration. And the qualified candidate must have at least 5 years (60 months) of experience as data scientist or closely related occupation.
