The Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a College Intern for the Office of Investment and Governance.
Led by Director Kathleen C. Madden, the Ohio Department of Administrative Services is the engine of state government, providing innovative solutions and supporting the efficient operation of state agencies, boards and commissions. The Office of Information Technology at DAS delivers information technology (IT) and telecommunication services to State of Ohio agencies, boards and commissions.
What You'll Do:
Research:
Explore models and services available in the State of Ohio AI sandbox environments and their application on business use cases.
AI Development Life Cycle: Understand State of Ohio AI policy and toolkit usage.
Work with business stakeholders to identify suitable use cases.
Prototype, develop, test, and deploy the solution.
Artificial Intelligence development activities including but not limited to, improving model accuracy, identifying biases, and assessing model performance, text analysis, sentiment analysis, and chatbot development.
Evaluate the value of AI use case implementation to the business.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams Work with data analysts, cloud architects and business stakeholders to integrate AI solutions into larger applications.
Document and knowledge sharing Maintaining documentation and presenting findings to share knowledge with the team and broader audience.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, as verified via official or unofficial transcript or letter on letterhead from the Registrar's office confirming enrollment.
