Prestigious Fortune 500 Company is seeking Art Handling and Logistics Coordinator to support the movement, storage, and shipping of art objects, maintain accurate inventory records, and organize art storage areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in art handling, museum operations, collection management software, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with internal movement and storage of art objects.
• Coordinate local and national shipments, including between branches and St. Louis storage.
• Inventory shipments, including handling, photographing, and recording biographical information.
• Enter, edit, and maintain records in the database, including transitioning to new location patterns.
• Resolve database conversion issues.
• Maintain and organize art storage areas as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in art handling and museum operations.
• Experience with collection management software (preferably Argus).
• Shipping and logistics experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects
