Qualifications: Current and unrestricted Radiologic Technologist certification through the Washington State Department of Health. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. At least one year of RT experience, preferred. BLS certification. Responsibilities: Assists radiologist or other physician performing examinations; prepares and positions patients for display of body area to be studied; positions machine; adjusts controls to produce products of required diagnostic quality. Operate CT scanners safely and accurately, selecting appropriate scan parameters for different medical conditions. Provide excellent patient care and safety, administering contrast agents when required and monitoring for adverse reactions. Evaluate CT images for diagnostic quality, maintain organized patient records, and assist with equipment maintenance and quality control procedures.
