In addition, the Architectural Construction Coordinator ensures each project is completed within scope, on schedule and within budget. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Safety & Quality:Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policiesFollows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations including PPE, CoHE (lockout /tagout) and chemical safetyActively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours).Follows proper organizational change practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are metLeads quality improvement initiatives in their area of expertise to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and drive cost savingsEnsures specifications, standard and checklists are aligned with corporate guidelinesLeads system troubleshooting efforts when requestedLeads lessons learned type activities per area of expertiseOwns content of construction specifications, design standards and design checklists that ensure quality, efficiency and safe workCommunication & Collaboration:Partners with key customers to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metricsCoordinates with partners and leaders on issues and changes, and provides regular status updatesProvides a high level of service with strong customer focus and builds effective relationships with supported teamsDemonstrates strong partnering, negotiation and teamwork skillsProactively seeks and provides feedback to internal and external management regarding the quality of work being performedCollaborates with areas leaders to create personal performance and development goalsCommunicates proactively with leaders and partners on the daily priorities and issuesPartners in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementationCollaborates with partners in the design, installation, and startup of new construction and remodel areasProject Management/Planning:Uses a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize and run projectsLeads projects to ensure results are completed within the required scope, schedule and budgetSupervises actions and provides critical issue path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on timeDefines and leads sophisticated, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to MicronEnsures regular communication to collaborators of project status, roadblocks, and path to successPrepares project scope and ensures necessary input from appropriate partnersPerforms project cost estimates, forecasts, project cash flows and capital budget acquisitionCoordinates the project requester's needs, and the engineering and trades construction schedules and work loadsMonitors, controls and reviews trends in spending and correlates with forecast to resolve project budgetsLeads construction contract during execution of projectsOversees and leads projects from initial consultant selection to close out, which could include high value projectsTechnical/Data Analysis:Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance and gain efficiencyProvides effective and timely guidance to resolve issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolutionProvides troubleshooting support for complex problems and addresses root causeProvides consultation and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing and other department/sitesLeads or supports benchmark activities on operational, procedural, engineering, facilities systemsMaintains applicable subject area knowledgeSupports a culture of TPMUses administrative databases as necessary in support of job tracking, data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacitiesIncorporates safety controls in every aspect of the design, enhancement, and modification processQualifications:Excellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skillsAbility to communicate complex analysis in a succinct and actionable mannerAbility to plan, drive and complete projects effectivelyAbility in multi-tasking complex projectsSkills in working effectively with team members from different disciplinesStrong leadership skills with the proven ability to coordinate efforts across a variety of groupsStrong partnering, negotiation, and team-working skillsCommunicate and present technical information effectively to all audiencesStrong understanding of funding approval process and a working knowledge of project estimating systemsEducation and Experience:Required: Minimum – Relevant degree or appropriatecertification/licensePreferred: Two to five years of experience in construction coordination or related fieldAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
