Acara Solutions is looking for an Onsite Contract AR Associate in Phoenix, AZ for one of our clients.
Pay: $20-$25 hourly
Job Summary: Performs a variety of Accounts Receivable accounting and Collection tasks, including but not limited to A/R transactions; account reconciliations; sending customer statements; collecting required sales tax documents;; general administrative duties and other related Accounting/Finance related activities.
Job Duties: Accounts Receivable:
Producing and distributing customers' statements (SOA) & invoices, scheduled and ad-hoc Generating and analyzing A/R Aging and past due reports: providing customers' status and payment expectations, ensuring the adherence to contractually agreed payment terms Identifying and resolving incorrect billing issues w/external as well as internal customers (Contracts and Order Admin groups) Facilitating appropriate approvals of credits / returns / invoices, where required Supporting Sales Tax compliance Maintain records in compliance with SOX requirements & satisfactory for statutory audits Collections:
Contacting customers regarding upcoming due and past due A/R balance Prepare Cash Application details and validate correctness of posting in ERP Work to meet past due target % commitment

Required Skills / Qualifications:
Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Proficient in Excel Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
