Job Description:
Looking for a Data Scientist that has Customer Segmentation (Marketing).
This Contractor may act as a liaison with the data team in India so there may be opportunity to jump on meetings and work later in the evening.
This candidate will work with the Data Analytics team to develop a customer segmentation work stream. This will entail helping the business go deeper on customers insights to understand what their key retention and attrition drivers are. Sharing those insights back to the marketing team to help the marketing team develop customer retention campaigns.
This role requires a self starter.
This candidate will be the only person in the world doing what they will be doing. While they will have ppl around them who can help give them feedbackon the data they are finding but this person will not be joining a team of Data Scientists. This will be a net new scope. Due to this the team is looking for someone with a lot of experience who can come in from a head down standpoint drive on their one with a data team they can leverage and a marketing team they can collaborate with.

REQUIRED SKILLS
5 years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift Oracle NoSQL etc. experience
Marketing data science is required
Bachelors degree in BI finance engineering statistics computer science mathematics finance or equivalent quantitative field
Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
Experience with data visualization using Tableau Quicksight or similar tools
Experience with forecasting and statistical analysis Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines Strong writing presentation and communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
Customer lifetime value or Economic value experience would be a plus
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2 DynamoDB S3 and Redshift
Experience in data mining ETL etc. and using databases in a business environment with largescale complex datasets Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R SAS and Matlab
Experience in building ML models to solve practical problems
Top 3 Must have skills
