Responsibilities: Apply fertilizers, herbicides, chemicals to commercial lawns (minimal residential) Monitor commercial sites for fertilizer / herbicide / pesticide needs Application of chemicals to control weeds in rock and landscape beds Tree spraying Manage lawn care products (loading, monitoring supply, alerting supervisors of purchasing needs) Make recommendations for fertilizer / herbicide / pesticide used based on site evaluations Fill in other roles, when necessary, such as lawn mowing, shrub trimming, spring and fall cleanups, and snow removal in the winter Requirements: MUST  have MN Dept. of Agriculture Applicators license (A&E) or ability to get recertified within a short period of time MUST  have a valid MN driver's license and clean driving record / acceptable driving record for insurance Experience with application of fertilizers / herbicides / chemicals for turf and non-turf property maintenance Ability to work autonomously Experience operating lawn care equipment such as commercial mowers, aerators, slit seeders Ability to work independently and efficiently, complying with all federal, state, local, and company regulations related to pesticides and fertilizers Willingness to help out in other roles when necessary Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly Ability to drive a truck and trailer Preferred: Experience supervising others Experience in residential projects Pay range will vary within the range based on experience and/or licenses
