Responsibilities
• Actively monitors and administers assigned applications• Provides support and assistance to application end users• Resolves application hardware and software trouble tickets• Implements vendor recommended application patches• Acts as subject matter expert for associated applications• Maintains understanding of user processes and coordinates with stakeholders• Monitors vendor product roadmaps and maintains ongoing product training• Promotes application changes between non-production and production environments• Supports stakeholders with field training for metering technology deployments• Monitors application license usage and makes recommendations for updates
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related study• Minimum of 3 years of application configuration and administration experience• Working technical knowledge of enterprise applications and systems• Proven ability to function in a team environment and manage conflicting priorities• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal• Natural gas or utility industry experience desired• Working knowledge of utility meter-reading and customer billing processes desired• Experience with Itron residential metering solutions desired• Understanding and knowledge of IT service management and ITIL
