Ap Specialist

AP Specialist Riccobene Associates Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join our accounting department. As an AP Specialist, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Process high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents Ensure approval and appropriate coding of invoices Prepare and process payments to vendors Monitor accounts payable aging and resolve any outstanding issues Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed Requirements Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.) is a plus
