Job Description About the Role: WynnBET is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Manager. This individual will oversee the accounts payable function and perform varied accounting functions including preparation and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and performing ad-hoc accounting projects as requested by management. A successful Accounts Payable Manager combines excellent analytical and organizational skills with a thorough knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting principles.
Responsibilities: Oversees the accounts payable function, which includes ensuring accurate invoice processing, payments, supporting cross-functional business partners and responding to vendor inquiries and escalations. Plans and executes weekly and ad-hoc payment runs and manages the accounts payable dashboard. Manages the accuracy of the supplier database including adherence to vendor compliance requirements. Assists with the preparation of tax-related matters, including 1099 reporting and use tax returns. Identifies and executes process improvements to simplify invoice and payment processing. Manages the monthly accounts payable close process and posting of information to the general ledger. Assists in the preparation and/or review of month-end accruals. Prepares and/or reviews balance sheet account reconciliations, including reconciliations of prepaid and accrued expenses, corporate credit cards and cash disbursement accounts. Motivates, coaches, and evaluates employees to enhance their performance and development. Other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience Minimum of seven (5) years of previous experience in accounting or related experience. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Possesses interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts Computer literate with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Excellent professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company information Requires a willingness to work beyond the boundaries of an average workday. Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.
