*FULL TIME AP Accountant IN OFFICE
Education requirement: 2- or 4-year degree in Accounting or related field
Experience requirement: 3 years AR / AP accounting high-volume experience
AP Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Set up and maintenance of new vendors/suppliers in Foundation following IRS guidelines relating to W9 Process 1099s Maintenance of payment schedules Update system with data changes and approval levels Research, review, reconcile vendor accounts, AP aging, and AP statements Proactively run and review AP reports weekly to ensure old items are being investigated and cleaned up Learn program inside and out and assist with Foundation training of new employees Process weekly payment runs for checks and ACHs Month end vendor statement reconciliation and transaction cleanup Month end NC Sales & Use Tax Reporting Create and enter adjustments and journal entries Organizing, scanning, invoicing, filing, data entry and special projects as needed Use excellent organizational, phone, customer service skills and maintain vendor relationships Create and update excel spreadsheets Foundation Software a Plus (not required) Notary a PLUS (not required) A1A Contract experience a major PLUS (not required) AR Job Responsibilities/Duties:
Prepare billings for large and small projects AR collections follow up weekly and monthly on overdue invoices Research, review, reconcile customer accounts, AR aging, and AR statements Prepare P/L by Job report Create and enter adjustments and journal entries Organizing, scanning, and filing invoices Use excellent organizational, phone, customer service and collections skills Data entry, invoicing, filing, special projects Create and update excel spreadsheets Purchase order management for material, equipment and job setup Special Projects as Needed Foundation Software a Plus (not required) Notary a PLUS (not required) A1A Contract experience a major PLUS (not required) We offer:
