About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in creating, maintaining, and supporting Android mobile applications for shipboard operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Android development, with experience in native application development. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, and deploy robust mobile applications. Job Title: Android Mobile App Developer
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop Android mobile applications for shipboard operations. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by users. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Android development. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed. Continuously optimize application performance and usability. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in Android development using Java. Strong understanding of the Android NDK, Android Studio, and related tools. Experience with native application development for Android. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Experience with troubleshooting and resolving user issues is a plus. Knowledge of maritime operations or related industries is desirable but not required. Location: Miami, FL 33178 Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $105,000 - $115,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
