Analyst Programmer 1 Location Remote in Washington, DC : : Dynamo Technologies, LLC is seeking an Analyst Programmer 1 to provide technical and functional support services to support the Financial Management Services (FMS) staff in the operations and maintenance of its core accounting system, Financial Management Modernization Initiative (FMMI) System, the FS Incident Business System (IBS) and the Forest Products Financial System (FPFS).
**This role is contingent upon proposal award and slated to begin in approximately Q3/Q4 2024**.
Duties/ Responsibilities Develop and maintain computer programs, applications, and database. Perform on-going analysis for streamlining and future development opportunities. Monitor daily activities and closures for potential modifications. Provide customer support, including development and maintenance of reports, for timber sale accounting activities. Provide support and analysis for security functions, requests for audit, and Forest Management & Congressional inquiries. Assist the migration of the FPFS application to the Cloud. Design, code, and deploy application codebase for IBS User Interface. Assist with audit related activities as needed, working with CFO Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide any information requested by the auditors. Work with CIO to resolve any IBS related vulnerabilities issues identified by the ongoing Forest Service audit vulnerability report. Address production trouble tickets as needed, working with various helpdesk systems and stakeholders to quickly identify, resolve, and document any application related issues in the live system. Required Skills/Abilities 4+ years Java development experience Proficient in building Web API (jQuery, etc.) Familiar with PostgreSQL Familiar with MS SQL Server Familiar with Oracle Database Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle eg Requirements, Design, Development, Testing and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLC A strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent leadership skills Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline Personable and able to work with individuals at all levels Ability to plan, organize, and structure work Experience motivating teams in a virtual environment U.S Citizenship required Education and Experience: 5+ years of development experience Bachelor of Science in business administration, IT, or any related field Travel Requirement : None Clearance Requirement: Public Trust Salary: $100k - $120k.
