Responsibilities
• Research data requirements for data warehouse in cloud environment• Facilitate data governance meetings and communicate data rules• Data mine for research purposes• Provide requirements for future data warehouse environment• Provide source-to-target mapping from legacy data environment to new cloud data environment• Document current state data workflows• Identify and recommend process improvements• Participate in and facilitate meetings for the Data Governance Council• Utilize data governance scorecards to support Council discussions• Develop, document, and maintain data definitions, production rules, compliance rules, etc.• Communicate data rules to stakeholders• Resolve data governance issues collaboratively• Develop processes and procedures for Data Governance and Stewardship• Support analysis and documentation of data capture standards• Serve as a resource to internal stakeholders on Data Governance solutions• Escalate complex issues to management/Data Governance Council
Requirements
• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience• 3-5+ years of experience in the financial/retirement industry• Knowledge of ETL functions and data warehousing principles• Knowledge of securities accounting and/or investment data• Knowledge of SQL and Business Intelligence reporting tools• Ability to deliver challenging assignments within assigned timelines• Ability to work in a team environment• Excellent organizational skills with strict attention to detail• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style• Ability to use sound judgment and discretion• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite• Strong time management skills
