Location: Detroit, Michigan TheALM Sales Specialist, Automotive OEMwill be a critical part of the ALM solutions sales team providing a laser focus on the automotive industry. They will develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate the automotive ecosystem while collaborating closely with sales, engineering, and product teams to manage the software lifecycle from inception to deployment. They will also advise on best practices for ALM within the automotive context, ensuring seamless integration of PTC's Codebeamer solution. Primary FunctionsRelationship Building and Key Account Management:Cultivate and expand relationships with key stakeholders at major automotive OEMs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive solutions that address the entire automotive value chain. Sales Strategy and Execution:Participate in the overall sales strategy for ALM solutions within the automotive sector. Oversee the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring alignment with OEMs' business objectives. Market Expertise and Competitive Landscape Analysis:Understand the competitive landscape specific to automotive ALM solutions. Familiarity with other competitive ALM tools used by automotive OEMs and suppliers, including IBM Rational DOORS, Jira Align, Polarion, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Helix RM which supports traceability, change management, reporting, review, and approval processes. Qualifications:5+ years' experience leveraging deep knowledge of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) in order to sell enterprise ALM solutions to major automotive OEM'sStrong understanding of Top 3 Automotive OEM's, automotive ecosystem and extended supply chain partners10+ years overall experience in enterprise software salesProven success in the discrete manufacturing industry, specifically automotive.
