Overview: As an AJ's Pizzeria Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for guests visiting our waterpark. You will work in a fast-paced environment, serving delicious food and beverages while upholding the highest standards of customer service and cleanliness. Your friendly demeanor and teamwork skills will contribute to creating a positive atmosphere for guests to relax and refuel during their waterpark adventures.Responsibilities:Customer Service:* Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with menu selections.Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special dietary needs and preferences are accommodated.Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.Handle customer inquiries, comments, and complaints professionally and promptly.Food Preparation and Presentation:* Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.Ensure food is presented attractively and meets quality standards.Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas, including food storage and handling procedures.Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.Cash Handling and Transaction Processing:* Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit card, and electronic transactions accurately.Calculate and process orders efficiently, ensuring correct change is given.Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, following company procedures.Teamwork and Collaboration:* Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth service operations.Communicate effectively with team members and management to address any issues or concerns.Support team members during peak periods by assisting with food preparation, serving, and cleaning tasks.Maintaining Cleanliness and Sanitation:* Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, chairs, and condiment stations regularly.Monitor and replenish supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and condiments, as needed.Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.Qualifications:Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required.Bartending experience preferred but not required.Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating change.Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the eatery area.Capacity to lift and carry trays of food and beverages up to 25lbs.Stamina to work in a hot and fast-paced environment.Benefits:Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) after 6 months of service.100% match at 3% contributions, 50% up to 5%.Paid Time Off – Sick & VacationHoliday PayGrowth and development opportunities with us as a company, potentially at the same property or transferring to another one of our properties.
