Job summary
Perform UH-60A/L/M aircraft maintenance as assigned.Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components.Thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair, and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities
• Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures, structural components, and engines of complex to extreme difficulty.• Maintain and repair aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.• Use technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment condition and operation.• Solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufacturers' manuals.• Utilize aircraft unique tools and test equipment to perform tasks.• Provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers.• Prioritize workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.• Make entries in aircraft logs and records.• Provide guidance and technical expertise to lower level technicians.• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate is a plus.• 2 years of H-60 experience required.• UH-60 (15T) course is a plus.• Must be a U.S. Citizen.• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.• Proficiency in MS Office suite.• Thorough familiarity with AR 95-20, DA PAM 738-751, AR 700-138, and all associated aircraft maintenance manuals.• Must have own tools and meet minimum tool list requirements.• Physical requirements: walking, standing, climbing, crouching, crawling, grasping, lifting up to 50 pounds, etc.
