AI Experience Center Qualification Lead Description -
We are seeking an outstanding Test Focussed Leader to play a pivotal role in the development of HP Personal System's forthcoming platform. This platform is designed to support advanced customer products and services powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence.
The role involves playing a key part of test leadership in helping build quality in the software built on the device and cloud. It will necessitate working alongside various teams and partners within the Personal Systems and Cloud Ecosystem Organization. The role requires independently determining the best strategies, techniques, and benchmarks to achieve objectives. Should be aware of the concepts of dev Ops, AI Models, LLMs, test development or AI models. Responsibilities Plays a pivotal role in crafting, executing, and driving Test activities to ensure Software built and delivered to customers are of top quality and meets the need of the customers. This role would be the systems qualifications Lead and has to drive quality in the organization & should be a go getter and drive the organization towards quality. Must ensure all the assets are following the guidelines for quality and should set/define the quality standards and ensure compliance during built/test/release of software. Analyses and determines the necessary coding and integration based on goals and integration standards. Conducts tests, documents result, troubleshoots code issues, and recommends enhancements. Works as part of a team with other engineers and external partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Engages with development partners on design, progress, and problem-solving. Collaborates on software projects and maintains project components. Implements automation for deployment and monitoring. Ensures system reliability and scalability. Works with Data and Database Engineers for integrated solutions. Reviews designs and activities for compliance with standards, enhancing product quality and reducing risk. Helps shape technology strategies and engineering roadmaps. Offers guidance and mentorship to junior staff, leading by example in innovation and excellence. Education & Experience Recommended Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence. Typically, 15+ years of applicable experience. Knowledge & Skills Test planning and strategy. Test planning and strategy involve developing a comprehensive approach to the testing process, Test automation, Test case development, Defect management, Risk management, Performance testing. ... AI and machine learning concepts. Data science and analytics. ... Natural language processing (NLP) Preferred Proficiencies: Hands-on Experience in Java/Go/C++, Microservices architecture, and AWS is preferred. Familiarity with Cloud Messaging systems like Rabbit MQ and Kafka, Docker Containers and CI/CD pipeline is preferred. Adaptability: The ability to adapt to rapid development cycles and maintain flexibility amidst changing project requirements is crucial. Design and Development Tools: Proficiency in using software design tools and programming languages is required. Analytical Skills: The role demands strong analytical skills for effective problem-solving. Testing Acumen: A solid grasp of software testing methodologies, including the execution of test plans, debugging, and the use of testing scripts and tools, is important. Communication Skills: The ability to clearly communicate design ideas and negotiate alternatives is essential. Architectural Experience: A robust background in the overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions is expected. Analytical and Problem-Solving Excellence: Exceptional analytical abilities and problem-solving skills are a must for this position.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $118050 - $181800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
