Job Summary: Extension Pesticide Safety Educator Senior Associate is responsible for actively working with Kentucky Extension personnel and the Kentucky Department of Agriculture to coordinate the private applicator training and certification program and develop and present educational materials at regional events across the state. The individual will also support the training of commercial applicators through the development and update of training materials. The individual will be expected to:
oversee and maintain online programs to support county-based personnel that issue pesticide certifications and registrations for private and non-certified applicators
pursue external funding opportunities
support the program's established deliverables, which are agreed to with funding partners
continuously develop original content to engage audiences through innovative educational methods such as online courses, videos, electronic publications, and activities in addition to traditional publications and in-person presentations to meet EPA standards for core competency delivery Position Time Status: Full-Time
