Job summary
The Agriculturalist position is a full-time staff role at OSU.The Field and Research Service Unit focuses on agriculture, natural resources, and rural economies.The selected candidate will assist with turf research projects and facilities in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
• Assist with care and maintenance of research projects and facilities• Support turf research projects through various tasks• Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems• Perform ground preparation and equipment maintenance• Oversee equipment operation and safety training programs• Other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
• Associate's degree in turf, horticulture, agriculture or related field• 4 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree in related field• Valid vehicle operator's license• Demonstration and Research Pesticide Applicator License• Good interpersonal and communication skills• Progressively more responsibility in overseeing turf research projects• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform equipment repairs• Basic understanding of small engine operation, carpentry, plumbing, and painting• Master's degree preferred• 3+ years of experience in turf plant/grounds maintenance and turf research management
