SCHEDULE: Full Time 
TRAVEL REQUIRED:  0% - 25% 
COMPENSATION: $38,453.00to $76,720.00   base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
About Our Opportunity The Ag Retail Loan Servicing Specialist provides exceptional internal and external customer service by supporting the delivery of consumer financial services and loan servicing needs. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality and accuracy of customer and loan data within our Accounting and Servicing systems. They answer and support questions from our internal and external customers ensuring a seamless experience. They uphold compliance and regulatory guidelines to minimize risk to the association.
How You Will Spend Your Time Establishes, develops, and maintains strong internal and external customer relationships by coaching others and consistently providing quality service that is timely, thorough, responsive, and exceeds customer expectations. Works with borrowers and internal partners to understand customer goals, and delivers value- added/ constructive financial information. Provides excellent customer service by answering internal and external customer phone calls and providing innovative solutions. Acquire and maintain expertise in accounting systems, association practices and procedures to provide technical support. Processes financial transactions and loan servicing requests. Performs analysis of accounting requests by preparing accounting entries involving complex calculations and transactions. Processes closing packages Complies with regulations by checking loans and being a compliance resource for the team. Adheres to records and retention guidelines. Monitors reports and takes further action as appropriate. Maintains the accuracy of credit bureau reporting. Performs other duties as assigned. Represents and communicates the mission and values of Farm Credit Mid-America Complies with conduct policy, security policy and confidentiality expectations Any additional duties needed to help fulfill our Mission and abide by Our Compass Minimum Education & Experience Associate's Degree or equivalent classroom hours plus one year of experience in loan servicing, accounting, banking or financially related customer support while using a variety of business software, demonstrating proficiency in Excel.
Mental & Physical Requirements While engaged in this position, team members will routinely sit, use hands for tasks, and communicate orally. Standing or walking is frequently required, while occasional demands include reaching with hands and arms, and lifting or moving up to ten pounds. Vision requirements encompass close and distance vision. The work environment typically has a moderate noise level. This role may entail a blend of mental and physical capabilities, requiring strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended computer usage. Some roles may require physical or mental requirements related to driving, such as a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive a long-distance.
