Job Summary:- We are looking for someone who can inspire and prepare every scholar, regardless of their background, to achieve their dreams and contribute to the community.- Your role will involve developing and communicating the service model for custodial services and overseeing the training, supervision, and evaluation of custodial employees.- You will work with the facilities operations team and industry experts to ensure we have the right equipment and tools to maximize efficiency and protect our assets.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Design and conduct training for new custodial hires.- Assess and propose equipment needs for custodial and maintenance through capital purchases.- Ensure workplace safety and inform new hires about policies and procedures.- Communicate and demonstrate high housekeeping standards to the building operations team.- Establish sustainable housekeeping standards in collaboration with stakeholders.- Set goals, make observations, collect data, and assess the performance of custodians.- Inspect the quality of custodial work to ensure it meets our standards.- Research and collaborate with experts to establish efficient and effective housekeeping methods.- Perform routine performance evaluations for custodial staff.- Coordinate summer cleaning programs and district-wide trainings.- Maintain preventive maintenance standards using software.- Direct special services teams (paint crew, carpet installation crew, etc.).- Assist in maintaining painting and carpet replacement schedules.- Hire and manage custodial team members.- Organize regular meetings with building engineers to address common areas of interest.- Perform other comparable duties as assigned.
